Born and raised in England I came to the United States when I was 17 and stayed in Utah for 16 months. I received a degree in Communications at BYU. Initially I wanted to be a journalist, but right out of BYU I went into sales. My whole career has been is sales. I love selling, but not in the `used car salesman` way. I don`t make `pitches` or try different gimmicks in an attempt to make a sale. I create relationships with my customers that are built on trust and then I set out to exceed their expectations. Along the way in my sales career I have earned many national awards. I pride my self on being honest and dedicated and I feel a tremendous responsibility to do all that my customers hope and more. My responsibility, as a sales person, is to meet my clients` needs. It`s not about me, but it is all about them. If I can delight them by selling their house in a faster than expected time and at a good price, or help them find a house that they love, then they are thrilled and as a consequence I also benefit. In the past, while working for Johnson & Johnson I have controlled multi-million dollar budgets and have had very demanding national customers. But regardless of the size of the customer I felt confident in the products that I was representing, such as Tylenol or Pepcid. That always made me feel good. I also feel good sitting at a customer`s kitchen table and reviewing their real estate needs with them. Knowing that I provide a service that can put money in their pockets and relieve them of stress and worry is a very satisfactory way to make a living. |
